Resilience

We all encounter struggle and difficulty in our lives. If we haven’t already, it’s coming. Hardship is inevitable for each and every one of us. We may have struggle in varying degrees, but we all face it and we all have to deal with overcoming stress, anxiety, and survival.

You’re in control. We need to realize that no matter what we go through, we’re always in control. We have the power to make change in our own lives. Our decisions matter more than we think they do.

Take action. When we realize we have the power change our future, it’s time to take action. We need to take calculated decisions and move forward in the direction of our goals. If we’re in debt, we need to create actionable steps and keep progressing. With every step, we’ll get to where we need to be.

Keep things in perspective. When times are tough and nothing seems to go our way, we need to keep everything in perspective. Gratitude becomes our greatest ally in these moments. Simply understanding how valuable our life is, how we have so many capabilities we take for granted, and how we have the power to make a difference can be strong realizations for evolution.

Staying resilient in all periods of time is tough, but developing the skill can get us through the worse of times. We all face hardship in our own way. Moving forward, sticking to our guns, and fighting through every moment will keep us ahead.

”I think that life is difficult. People have challenges. Family members get sick, people get older, you don't always get the job or the promotion that you want. You have conflicts in your life. And really, life is about your resilience and your ability to go through your life and all of the ups and downs with a positive attitude.” -Jennifer Hyman
